Wow Slim! Your description of your anxious withdrawal from the city as well as your creativity block is something I could really relate to. I spend my life as happy as a person has a right to be. I don’t hate and I have a lot of patience. I find beauty and joy in my surroundings and in people everywhere I go. But once in a while my emotions feel out of kilter. Like the universe isn’t quite right for a bit. My perspective is weird. And I don’t know what to do about it but relax and wait for it to go away. It always does!

With regard to your propane stove, have you thought about using a 20 lb propane tank and cooking outside? I suppose you might even consider bringing it in on those rainy days when no one is looking! Tgat trailer looks like a relative to the Scamp trailers, which I lived in one for 2 1/2 years in the woods of Eastern NC, and it was NOT the kind of thing you want to stay in with snow, I know as I did two snowy winters, and it just about killed me. Bringing back memories...good, and bad.

As to the *'MISTAKES'* ...... a Ryobi battery 🔋 .... and a few Strong-Tie screws would hold great 👍 and allow for easy 're-assembles' 😁👍

You should use use Simpson screws. Easier to move the hangers

What I don't understand is why youtubers think it's interesting for us to watch them travel and camp... We have seen it all,,, all our lives in movies, tv, and our own travels and camping. What's interesting is watching the building and improvements. Just saying.

Time to build a summer kitchen. Put your propane stove in there

I follow builds by professional builders and I find builds like this just as interesting. You are very resourceful. On another note, if you want the most energy efficient way to boil water, check out an electric kettle. If you boil small amounts, make sure you get one that can do that. I have one that can boil as little as one cup. Electric kettles are nearly 100% efficient whereas microwaves are probably around 50-60%.

That new space will be nice to have and even nicer to know that you built it. When I lived in TN there were storms that would knock out power regularly and we'd cook on the propane grill outside. Very handy and didn't heat up the house.
